Members of the club enjoyed a splendid outing on Sunday, 16th July to Sycamore Gap on Hadrian’s Wall. After having taken advantage of the impressive landscape and capturing memorable images, the group had lunch at the Twice Brewed Pub, before returning home.
Located nearby is the new Visitor Centre, The Sill, which is the UK’s first National Landscape Discovery Centre, the result of an innovative partnership between Northumberland National Park and YHA (England and Wales). It has been made possible by National Lottery players through a £7.8m grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. https://www.northumberlandnationalpark.org.uk/opening-date-announced-for-the-sill/
