Northern Counties Photographic Federation

PPS is part of the North of Tyne section of the Northern Counties Photographic Federation

The Northern Counties Photographic Federation (NCPF) was founded in 1901 and is the second oldest of the fifteen Regional Federations affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB)
The PAGB is in turn affiliated to the Federation Internationale de l'Art Photographique (FIAP) and our members can enjoy the benefits of that association.
The NCPF is also a member organisation of the Photographic Society of America (PSA) and enjoys its patronage of our International Exhibition.

The objective of the NCPF is the enhancement of photography.

We serve some fifty clubs and societies across the North of England, covering an area, which includes the whole of the counties of Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, Durham, Cleveland and the northern part of Cumbria. A number of clubs and societies in the northern part of North Yorkshire and the Scottish Borders are also members of the NCPF, as are some national organisations.

Our affairs are run by the Executive Committee, which organises a range of services and functions for its member clubs and their individual members.
