North Tyne Area Prints


	North Tyne Area Print Competition 2010/2011


	This season’s Interclub Print Competition was postponed after the Winter arrived early in November and left most of the country covered in snow for several weeks. After much diary juggling between everyone concerned the competition went ahead on 28 February 2011.

Mike Sadler, Chairman at Ponteland says, "We were delighted that the event was so well supported by North Tyne Clubs and our thanks go to Jim Welsh LRPS, CPAGB for judging this year's entries in a constructive and amusing way. I am very grateful to all PPS members for their help in making the evening a success and for St Mary's Church for once again lending us chairs.
Congratulations to winners Whitley Bay and to all the photographers for taking part.”


	Judge Jim Welsh LRPS, CPAGB presented the awards for both Whitley Bay the club with the highest overall score and also the top photograph in the competition of 48 entries.

	On the left Jim hands the club trophy to Jan Clements, Secretary at Whitley Bay Photographic Society.

	Margaret Warren, President of Tynemouth Photographic Society accepts the Stag Trophy on behalf of Larry Bedigan whose ‘Red Deer Stag’ was chosen by Jim as the top photograph entered, right.
