Our Judge, George Ledger, from Shotley Bridge, is a member of Consett & District Photographic Society.
His task entailed studying fifty-six mounted images. He gave detailed explanations of his thoughts for each one as he used the Light Box to allow everyone to share his deliberations.
Each club submits 8 prints and George’s insights made this a very entertaining evening.

The audience had score sheets and the excitement mounted as we drew towards the end.
First place for an individual print went to Wallsend’s Stephen Crossman for his monochrome “Don’t mess with me”.
Many thanks to our Judge, to Kath Guellard and Tony McCann; also thanks to everyone who helped to make this evening such a success. We especially thank those who provided the substantial Buffet, which gave an opportunity to socialise.
